Founded in 2005 as the duo "Whistle & Strings", "Celtic Delight" has been playing in its current line-up as a folk trio since 2013. "Celtic Delight": that's Heidi Bogena, vocals & piano, Frank Oberschelp, whistles and Christian Henke, guitar.

The Bielefeld Folktrio presents virtuoso Irish folk dance music and soulful melancholy ballads from Ireland, Scotland and Brittany. Unbridled joy of playing meets dreamy melancholy, realized in special and unconventional arrangements of the ensemble. Since its foundation, "Celtic Delight" has enchanted audiences in concerts and is a welcome guest at concerts and events such as "Muku Royal" and the "Night of the Recorder".
